About Archie Cl
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Archie Cl is a friendly and energetic black Labrador Retriever mix who is about 2 years old and weighs around 40 pounds. He’s both house and kennel trained, walking to the door to let you know when he needs to go outside. Archie is smart, quick to learn, and already knows many basic commands like sit, stay, and even going to his bed or kennel when asked—making your routines easier from day one. He’s leash trained, enjoys daily walks, and doesn’t chew on furniture, though his curiosity means he’ll occasionally lay claim to household items he thinks are toys. Playful and affectionate, Archie loves fetch, tug of war, and spending time with his toys. He gets along well with other dogs and has lived happily with a 10-year-old child. While he may initially be hesitant and shy around new people—barking and seeking a safe spot until he feels comfortable—he quickly warms up with positive reinforcement and some patience. Archie would thrive in a home that can provide an active lifestyle, ideally with a fenced yard and, if possible, a canine sibling or frequent dog friends. Please note, Archie has tested positive for heartworms, and treatment is being planned for him. He will be neutered (if not already), and he is microchipped. He is listed as a courtesy to help find him the perfect family. For more information or to apply for his adoption, contact Renee at renees@tarasdream.org. Archie is currently in the care of The Animal Rescue Alliance (T.A.R.A.). They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
