Crouton
AvailableCrouton is a gray and white terrier mix with a short coat, living in Warren, OH. She is an adult female who has been spayed, is current on her vaccinations, and is fully house trained. Crouton prefers to be the only pet and thrives with older, respectful children. She’s ready for a fresh start and the lasting companionship she deserves.
About Crouton
Crouton was found alone in a grocery store parking lot and now waits for a home that won’t let her down again. She didn’t end up at the rescue because of anything she did—someone, somewhere, used to care for her. She’s been spayed and microchipped, so it’s clear she mattered. But when she needed them most, no one returned. She can be quiet and hesitant at first. Give her a little time and she’ll cautiously open up, showing subtle flashes of her sweet temperament and spirit. Crouton is ready to put this chapter behind her and learn what it means to be someone’s only dog. She’s dog-selective and does best as the only pet—no cats, either. Older, respectful kids suit her better than rowdy homes. All she’s looking for is someone steady—someone who’ll show up, stay, and prove that forever isn’t just a word. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
