Ajax
AvailableAjax is an Australian Kelpie in Newtown, CT with a short coat and a solid medium build. He’s a young, neutered male, house trained, and his vaccinations are up to date. Known for their working drive and athleticism, Kelpies like Ajax thrive with regular exercise and mental stimulation.
About Ajax
Ajax started with nothing—a rural ditch, a sibling, and luck landing them in the hands of a compassionate cop. From there, he beat the odds: antibiotics, vaccines, and months isolated by a rare contagious virus. This meant a rough, unsocialized beginning. His brother Comet, healthy again, found the perfect home with a kelpie-loving adopter. Ajax is still waiting for someone to see him for the working breed he is. He’s about two years old now, all sinew and smarts, a 35-pound powerhouse in a compact medium frame. Regular runs, hiking, agility, or structured work would do him good; a Kong for chewing is his current sanity anchor. He’s gentle at heart and quick to learn but comes with rough edges—leash manners aren't polished yet, and he can be a handful. Ajax is a project, but the kind worth investing in if you want loyal, clever company for your active life. Absolutely no cats for this boy. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
