AvailableAbout Maddox The Majestic
Say Hello to Majestic Maddox Once upon a time, under a big Texas sky, there lived a dog named Maddox. Maddox was not just any dog. He was the kind of dog people stopped and stared at⌠the kind that made you say, âWow.â A majestic Great Pyrenees mix with a soft, snowy coat and kind, knowing eyesâMaddox looked like he had stepped right out of a storybook. But his story didnât begin like one. Maddox had spent his days on a quiet, worn-down property⌠where the fences leaned, the grass grew wild, and the Texas sun never seemed to rest. Day after day. Night after night. Always outside. Always waiting. But hereâs the thing about Maddox⌠Even after everythingâ he never stopped being gentle. Not once. At about 3 years old, and weighing nearly 90 pounds, Maddox is what people call a gentle giant. Though heâs big, he moves like heâs made of airâ light on his feet, calm in his steps, never rushing, never pulling. On a leash, he walks beside you like heâs been doing it his whole life. Because maybe⌠heâs been waiting for someone worth walking beside. Maddox loves other dogs. He greets them with a soft wag and curious eyesâ never pushy, never rough. Just kind. Always kind. Heâll play when invited⌠rest when itâs quiet⌠and always make room for one more friend. And people? Oh⌠Maddox adores people. He leans in gently, like heâs saying, âIâm here. Youâre safe. Weâre okay now.â These days, Maddox has a warm place to rest. A crate of his ownâ(a very big one, because, well⌠Maddox is a big boy)â a soft spot to sleep, and people who see him for who he truly is. But itâs not quite home. Not yet. What Maddox dreams of is simple. A fenced yard where he can stretch his long legs and feel the grass beneath his paws and so he can lay in the sun, overseeing his domain. A family who will walk beside himânot ahead, not behindâjust together. Maybe another dog to share quiet moments with⌠but he's happy to be the single star in your eyes, or maybe just one human who understands him. Because Maddox doesnât need much. Just love. Consistency. And someone who wonât leave him outside, wondering. Right now, Maddox is in Houston. Heâs getting the care he needs, healing, growing stronger every day. And soonâvery soonâheâll be ready. Ready to travel. Ready to belong. Ready to come home. So if youâve ever wanted a dog who is calm, loyal, and quietly extraordinary⌠If youâve ever wanted a friend who walks beside you like heâs been yours forever⌠Then maybeâ just maybeâ Maddox has been waiting for you all along. The End⌠or maybe just the beginning! More details about this gentle boy: - Maddox is great with all other dogs - he is great and loves all people - he gets very happy to go on walks - he thinks he is a Yoga Master - when he does his fire hydrant pee, he has to balance both sides out, so turns around and does the fire hydrant with his other leg too :-) - walks on a leash that you can hold on your pinky, other dogs or not - I think he would like to swim or at least paddle around in water - on our walks he was very interested in going to our lake :-) Maddox did come into our Rescue heartworm positive - he is nearly done with his heartworm treatment. __________________________________________________________________________________ GETTING MADDOX HOME DETAILS: Maddox is neutered, microchipped & vaccinated and would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family. Adoption fee is $395. Please complete the application on this link: https://forms.gle/FKSMBuoGTujaTkun8 Or email Sandra.ttr.tx@gmail.com for a link to the application. Once your application is approved, we can arrange a FaceTime session for you to meet him. Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport. We use what we think is the best dog transport service in the region and have for years - Andrea and her crew really offer first class transport!
