About Arthur
Arthur is a striking Great Pyrenees and Husky mix with a soft, cream-colored coat and an unmistakably gentle nature. He arrived at the rescue in a rough state, malnourished and completely unsocialized after spending his first months isolated in a backyard. Because of this tough start, Arthur is still wary and tends to be very shy in new situations. He’ll need a home with an experienced adopter—someone who understands that building trust with a rescue dog requires patience and quiet consistency, not just affection. Arthur is also a significant flight risk and must have a secure environment, as well as careful handling on leash. The good news: trainers are already working with him and will continue supporting his adopter, offering leash and safety guidance specific to fearful dogs. Arthur gains confidence with canine companions and would be happiest in a home with other dogs. Though his progress is slow, he shows signs of opening up and holds real potential for someone ready to show him steady, unconditional care. Once Arthur realizes he’s safe, he’ll become a loyal presence who never forgets a gentle hand. Give him the shot he never had—he’s ready for a new life where he can finally relax and belong. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!

Arthur’s breeds prefer access to a large, securely fenced yard where they can stretch out and explore. Daily outdoor time is ideal for both his physical energy and mental well-being.
