About Beatrice

Meet Beatrice — the sweetest “love bear” you’ll ever meet. Beatrice is about 6 months old and already a sturdy 55 lbs, which means she’ll likely grow into a gorgeous 65–75 lb adult. She may have started life outdoors, but she’s quickly discovering the magic of being an indoor family member — soft beds, warm laps, and toy baskets (which she raids with great enthusiasm). Bea is a joyful goofball with a silly streak. Her favorite game? Selecting exactly the toy she wants from the toy box, trotting proudly outside with it, and then coming back in for another. She keeps herself entertained and keeps you laughing. A social butterfly with a gentle heart: Beatrice gets along beautifully with other dogs — big, small, bouncy, or mellow — and she’s wonderfully respectful with cats. For a young pup, she’s surprisingly calm and gentle, making her a great match for families with children. She doesn’t guard food or toys, and she has that classic Great Pyrenees instinct to alert you when someone’s on the property. One good “woof” and then she’s back to lounging. Zoomies, naps, and snuggles — the Pyr trifecta! Like all Pyrs, Bea has bursts of playful zoomies followed by legendary nap sessions. She also firmly believes she’s part lap dog and will happily melt into you for snuggles, ear scratches, and quiet moments. A friend to all Beatrice has a big, happy circle of dog friends and welcomes anyone who wants to play or share a sunny patch of grass. She’s also learning all the routines of home life — and she’s picking them up quickly. Healthy, ready, and waiting Bea is microchipped, fully vaccinated, and will be spayed soon. She’s ready for her forever family and the next chapter of her life. What she’s hoping for Beatrice would thrive in a loving home with a large, securely fenced yard where she can explore, sniff the breeze, and trot around with her toys. Most of all, she wants a person — someone who smiles when her ears perk up, who doesn’t mind her leaning in for affection, and who wants a loyal companion for walks, couch cuddles, and peaceful evenings. If you look into her warm brown eyes, you might hear her gentle question: “Are you the one I’ve been waiting for?” _________________________________________________________________________________ Make Beatrice Yours! Here's how: Beatrice would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands she has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with her new family. NOTE: THIS IS AN "OUT OF TOWN PET" - that means she is not at this location but we do have transport here - more about transport below. Our Rescue is Houston based (https://www.facebook.com/TwilightTailsRescue) and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston. Currently this dog is being fostered near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below. Adoption fee is $350 plus $30 for a health certificate and $250 for transport. Please complete the application on this link: https://forms.gle/FKSMBuoGTujaTkun8 Or email Sandra.ttr.tx@gmail.com for a link to the application. Once your application is approved, we can arrange a FaceTime session for you to meet her. Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport. We use what we think is the best dog transport service in the region and have for years - Andrea and her crew really offer first class transport!
