Ava is a young Boxer/Lab mix who came to Mesa, AZ as a shy, under-socialized girl but has come a long way with professional training from Side-by-Side Dog Training. At first, she may be a little hesitant when meeting someone new, but her bright side shines through quickly—give her a treat and she’ll be sticking by your side. She enjoys her walks and still has plenty of puppy-like energy, but she’s just as happy to settle in next to you for some quiet downtime. Ava is house trained and crate trained. She gets along well with other dogs, especially males, when introduced properly, and she does well with children too.
