About Pocco
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Pocco is a very sweet, bouncy boy—a big, lovable youngster who wants nothing more than to please his people and soak up all the snuggles he can! While he would benefit from a bit of training in his future home, Pocco has tremendous potential and is eager, smart, and always ready to impress. His big, soulful puppy dog eyes are destined to win your heart in no time. During his brief foster stay, Pocco did fantastic with children as young as 1.5 years old, showing he’s a wonderful companion for families. He was calm and friendly when left home alone, demonstrated good house manners, and was described as affectionate, mild-mannered, and the perfect candidate for anyone needing a hug. His size doesn’t stop him from believing he’s a lap dog! His volunteer friends share glowing reviews: Pocco adores crawling onto laps and giving kisses, loves receiving affection, and despite his big size is gentle and loves his walks. He’s learning new skills quickly, enjoys agility activities, and is especially motivated by treats—he’s talented at catching them mid-air and is learning to take them gently. Volunteers note his great leash skills, playful spirit, and remarkable ability to learn, all while leaning in for cuddles and enjoying rubs. With a little guidance and attention, Pocco will blossom as an ideal companion for active people or families. He would like to meet any resident dogs for a proper introduction, just to make sure everyone gets along. If you’re looking for a huge-hearted friend who’s ready for adventure and affection, ask to meet Pocco! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
