About Auggie
Start your journey together! Apply now. Auggie is ready to show you all the amazing things he's learned and is eager for a home where he can keep growing. As a graduate of Confidence College, he’s been working hard to build bravery and is looking for a patient adopter who will help him adjust at his own pace. Having come from a hoarding background, new people and places can make him a bit nervous, but once he settles in, Auggie blossoms into a playful, loving companion who can’t get enough of his toys and spending time with his humans. He thrives on encouragement, especially while mastering things like leash walking and exploring new spaces. Auggie adores playing with balls, squeaky toys, and anything fun, delighting in solo play and time with his favorite people. When he’s at ease, his affectionate and cuddly side shines, making him a wonderful snuggle buddy after a day of activity and discovery. Auggie needs to be your only dog and would do best in a home with kids over 6, in a setting where he has space to express himself—apartments aren’t the best match, since he loves using his voice when excited. Adopting Auggie is an incredibly rewarding experience for someone willing to let him come out of his shell on his terms. He’s eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a week-long home trial to see just how well he fits in. From tasty snacks to fun toys and loving companionship, Auggie is ready for a bright new chapter full of joy and connection. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
