ALSO THIS WEEKEND: SATURDAY, DEC. 6 from 12-3 PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at PETSMART in OLATHE (119th & Strang Line) with Heart of America Humane Society. We’ll have several dogs there looking for homes! ——————— STEVEN is a super sweet guy who's been through so much. He came to us with a horrible case of entropion-- a condition where the eyelashes brush against the dog's eyes causing a lot of pain and irritation. Steven's eyes were terribly infected and he could barely see through all the gunk in his eyes. It had to be so painful yet Steven has always been so sweet and loving. And now after a successful surgery, this guy is looking good and loving life! He's happy as can be and loves playing out in the yard. His favorite toy is a tennis ball. Steven loves people and loves attention. He's good with other dogs. Steven would do best in a home without young children, only because he needs some work on learning to take the tennis ball more gently and not jumping up on people. Steven will be a wonderful companion! ADOPTING A PET We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
