Opal is a 12-week-old black-and-white sweetheart with a gentle spirit and a bright, eager mind. She hails from Oklahoma and comes from a lively litter of seven siblings, but she’s already starting to stand out with her calm (“kahm”) nature and affectionate personality. This little girl has the kind of waggy tail that never seems to stop—especially when she’s around people. She absolutely loves to snuggle and will happily curl up beside you after a good play session. Opal is wonderful with children, playful without being overwhelming, and has that natural, easygoing temperament that makes her a joy to have around. She’s also impressively smart and motivated—very treat-oriented and quick to learn. In fact, within just 24 hours of entering foster care, Opal had already learned how to sit! That combination of intelligence and eagerness to please means she’s going to thrive with continued training and structure. Opal is a unique mix of Dutch Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, and probably other breeds—bringing together intelligence, loyalty, and a steady, grounded presence.
