Meet Barry! Barry is a sweet young pup with lots of energy and even more love to give! He’s always ready for fun, especially if there’s a toy involved — bonus points if it has a good squeaker inside. This smart boy already knows “sit” and is working hard on mastering “lay down.” He enjoys being close to his people and would thrive in a home where he can be part of the action and included in daily life. Barry can be a little unsure when meeting new people at first, but give him a little time and patience and you’ll have a best friend for life. Once he trusts you, his affectionate and loyal personality really shines. If you’re looking for a playful, devoted companion who will keep you smiling and your toy basket empty, Barry might just be your perfect match! ~~~~~ The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov. In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626. Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon. We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
