Red Ryder, or ‘Red’ as we call him, is a super smart, well-behaved boy who is ready for his forever home! Red loves to run around the yard every now and then, but he also loves coming up to his people for pets. Red is a little stand-offish at first but can still be very friendly. You will know once he decides you’re one of his people though; he won’t perform for just anyone. Once you get to be close with Red, he will give you his loyalty which he shows from following you around and listening when he’s told to sit or come. Red is a great dog that is ready to be your next best friend! Come meet him at our Red Poppy Adoptique any day from noon to 6pm. We are located in the beautiful San Gabriel Park at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626. ~~~~~ The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals at any time during open hours. In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626. Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours—giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time.
