Harvey is a senior gentleman who just landed at the shelter, and you can feel his gentle nature from the first hello. At eight years old, he’s mellow and content to meander around the play yard, taking in the world at his own speed. Volunteers say he’s easy to be around and always keeps an eye out for his favorite beef liver treats—and, of course, a friendly pat on the head. Harvey checks in for affection every few minutes, then is happy to continue his stroll, making his company easy and low-key. He’s still finding his bearings in this unfamiliar place, but the staff is certain it won’t be long before his spirit brightens and his tail wags with confidence.
