About Daffodil

Dogs don't get much cuter than Daffodil. At about 3 years old, she's a fun-loving German Shepherd Dog who wants nothing more than to find her own family. Daffodil believes she's a lap dog, and once she's comfortable, she'll smother your face in kisses with zero hesitation. She weighs around 60lbs and is fully grown—maybe a little extra around the middle, but nothing some walks can't fix. Daffodil showed up as a stray before giving birth to nine puppies—all of whom have found homes. Now, it's her turn. She's social and wiggly, loves to explore, and never says no to a car ride or a hug. She's food-motivated, quick to learn, and knows "sit." Her adopter should be ready to work on basic manners—she's a strong, enthusiastic girl and does best with someone who knows their way around bigger dogs. At home, Daffodil is happy relaxing on the couch but rallies for hikes and longer walks. She does best as an only dog or with a mellow male. She can't live with cats. Thanks to her bouncy personality, she'd fit in best with adults or families with kids 12 and older. She has house and crate training down, sleeps through the night, and can chill in a crate for a few hours during the day. She's ready for her happy ending. Click apply to start the adoption process.
