About Sunflower
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Sunflower, a darling sheepadoodle whose warm personality is impossible to resist. She was discovered on a solo "mission" in St. Paul, full of determination and curiosity. Once safe and cared for, Sunflower quickly showed everyone her true calling: spreading love to every human she meets. Sunflower is a clever girl who already knows some basic commands and absolutely thrives when given chances to learn and stay active. She's happiest in a home where she receives both mental challenges and physical activity—and where her eagerness to have a "job" is embraced. This sweet girl is kennel trained, though she sometimes protests a bit when settling in, so a home without shared walls (no apartments or townhomes) is ideal for her comfort. She has lived with other dogs in the past but prefers to be the only dog in her family. Her feelings about cats are currently a mystery. Sunflower is not one for constant outings or a packed social life. Loud dog parks or very busy environments can be overwhelming for her. She hopes for a calmer home and a special bond with people who appreciate quiet time and a loyal companion. She is currently helped by a low dose of fluoxetine to manage her occasional anxiety and help her feel at ease. If you are looking for a devoted, affectionate friend and can offer her a peaceful place to call home, Sunflower is ready to be queen of the castle—showered with love and ready to share it right back. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Sunflower
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Sheepadoodles do well in homes with space to play and a family who can give them attention. They thrive in suburban or rural houses with fenced yards, but can also adapt to quieter city homes if their exercise needs are met.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Sheepadoodles appreciate having a yard to explore and space to exercise. While they benefit from outdoor play, regular walks and mental stimulation are just as important, especially if a yard is not available.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Sheepadoodles are generally affectionate and good with children, given their friendly and gentle nature. Early socialization and training can help ensure positive interactions with kids.
