About Raye
Meet Raye, a 1-year-old, 45-pound Siberian Husky/German Shepherd mix with a goofy heart and energy that seems to go all day. Potty and crate training are conquered, but kitchen counters still tempt his nose—he sees snack opportunities everywhere. Raye hits it off with kids and other dogs his size, always ready for rough-and-tumble play or a lap to flop into, never mind how big he actually is. Tiny dogs and cats are fair game for some enthusiastic chase; it’s never mean-spirited, just his playful misunderstanding. He’s most at home sprinting around the yard or curled content on a patio chair, but inside, he’s still nailing the art of calm. Toss him a chew toy or a tasty treat and watch him settle in, ears perked for country tunes and eyes avoiding those puzzling wooden stairs. Given his nose, a career in couch snack patrol wouldn’t be out of reach. Despite all the comedy and curiosity, Raye is gentle at his core—affectionate, smart, and totally devoted to his humans. If laughter, loyalty, and a little chaos sound perfect, Raye will give you all that and more. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
