About Artie

Your new best friend is just one click away. Artie’s incredible resilience shines through his story—he was found on April 8, after wandering for weeks with a plastic cheese puff container stuck on his head, leaving him unable to eat, drink, or even breathe properly for days. When rescued, Artie was painfully emaciated at only 50 lbs, but thanks to attentive veterinary care and the devotion of his foster, he is steadily regaining his strength. This calm, sweet boy loves companionship and is happiest following his foster around, content and grateful to be safe and loved. He’s now ready to open his heart to a new family who will cherish him as much as he deserves. Born under the sun sign of Capricorn, Artie is likely loyal and dependable—traits that will shine as he settles into a new loving home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
