About Alec
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Alec is absolutely stunning! At around 3 years old, this Australian Shepherd and possibly Husky mix is bursting with energy and has a beautiful spirit. He is the perfect companion if you love outdoor adventures like hiking or jogging, as Alec is always ready to keep busy and tag along for all the excitement. Alec is very smart and benefits from mental stimulation. He would be an excellent match for an active home where he can thrive with older kids, as he does best having his own space when it comes to mealtimes. Because he needs space during feeding, he is not suitable for homes with small children who might not understand his boundaries. Alec requires a securely fenced yard for his exercise needs, and while he is enthusiastic about meeting other dogs, a proper meet-and-greet is necessary to ensure compatibility. He is not suitable for a home with cats. He is looking for adopters in the Long Island, Westchester, NYC area, and parts of Connecticut. If you are searching for an energetic, smart, and loyal friend to join your adventures, Alec could be the perfect match. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
