About Pixy
Pixie is a striking merle Australian Shepherd mix, weighing about 46 pounds and estimated at around five years old, though she may be a bit younger. Sheās all heartāa classic lovebug who lives for kisses, hugs, and snuggling up with her person. Pixie came into her current home hoping for a fresh start, but her canine housemate just wouldnāt accept her. Despite that, in three short weeks, sheās made it clear sheās a loyal, affectionate, and deeply sweet companion. Sheās fully housebroken and crate trained, keeps things quiet indoors, and truly shines around people. Smart and energetic, Pixie loves her daily leash walks at the park and is gleeful when she gets to play with younger dogs. Sheās respectful with cats and generally gentle, though she can get a little overexcited, especially around bikes or when sheās feeling playful. Pixie probably spent some time living outdoors, so while her loving side comes naturally, sheās still perfecting her indoor manners and may need continued gentle training on leash and greetings. Pixie needs a home with an experienced dog ownerāsomeone who knows her breed mix quirks and is ready for an affectionate companion. Sheās best suited to a home with older children, would love a fenced yard, and most of all, is looking for someone who welcomes both affection and energetic companionship. If youāre after a loyal dog whoāll fill your days with snuggles and genuine devotion, Pixie could be a perfect fit. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
