About Ranger

Ranger went through a tough stretch after his FHO and neuter surgeries in late February. His recovery took a turn for the worse with GI issues that landed him in emergency care, and for a while it was unclear if he would pull through. Thanks to some serious commitment, he's finally gaining weight and seems out of danger. Pulled from North Central, Ranger was nearly out of time, but the rescue backed him through thick and thin, no matter how much effort or money it took. After a costly journey to health and a disappointing adoption letdown, Ranger is ready for a home that doesn’t negotiate on caring—he needs someone steady and all-in. He's a goofy, gentle, big-hearted young dog with a long golden coat and a knack for making friends with every dog he meets. Joyful, oddly charming, and patient, Ranger brings genuine warmth wherever he goes. What he really needs now is a committed adopter who will show up for him the way he always shows up for others. If you’re ready for the kind of dog who gives his all, Ranger’s waiting in West Hollywood, CA. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
