In December 2024, he was found alone in the middle of Santa Fe and Willow Blvd, dangerously close to being hit by a car. I couldn’t let that happen—so I scooped him up and promised him a better life. Since then, BUDDY has bounced between fosters, but not all gave him the care he deserved. One even neglected to feed him properly, and he lost a lot of weight, it was for him to avoid sleeping in my SUV for over 65 days because no one wanted to foster. But BUDDY is a fighter. I got him back, nourished him with love and food, and today, he’s thriving again at a healthy 70 pounds. BUDDY is now ready to find his forever home. He’s a playful, energetic, and incredibly loving boy. He adores kids, gets along well with other dogs, and thrives in a home where he can be included in daily routines and adventures. He’s very smart, eager to please, and loves his walks — we go every morning and every night like clockwork. BUDDY is a wonderful mix of German Shepherd loyalty and Shar-Pei charm.
