It's hard to believe such a gentle soul spent time on the streets, but she is now eager to find her forever home. Peggy is calm and easygoing, making her a fantastic companion for both adults and children. She’s great on a leash and has a special affinity for other dogs, quickly becoming the shelter's unofficial therapy dog. Her nurturing energy is heartwarming; she offers comfort and reassurance to others, always ready for a gentle nudge and a wag of her tail. While she's currently a little heavier than she should be (she does love the shelter buffet), a bit more exercise and some healthy meals, paired with an active family, will help her achieve her best shape. Her one true weakness? Water. Whether it's sprinklers, kiddie pools, or swimming, Peggy is all in.
