With this fresh start, he’s grown accustomed to soft blankets, full tummies, and endless affection. Among dogs, Waylon is practically the president of the “Momma’s Boy & Puppy Pile Appreciation Club.” He looks up to his mom, adores the resident Goldens, and believes every group nap is better with him front and center (and snoring). As for cats, Waylon hasn’t met any yet—though his calm, curious demeanor suggests he’ll be a gentle friend. He’s a big fan of kids, thriving on their attention, wiggling in delight, and always game for toy time. Still, he’s not always the center of attention—Waylon enjoys his independence, lounging contentedly until invited to join the fun, at which point he’s all in. Energy-wise, Waylon’s more “laid-back country ballad” than “rowdy honky tonk.” While he loves a playful toy chase or a goofy splash, his true calling is as a cuddler and napper.
