About Oakley
Oakley is a 12-week-old shepherd/terrier mix with a sweet, sharp-minded, and cuddly temperament. She acclimated quickly after making her way up from West Virginia and fills her foster home in Brockport, NY with energy and curiosity. Oakley is busy learning the ropesāsheās working on basic commands like come, sit, and leave it, and sheās eager for more. People of all ages suit her just fine. She mixes well with other dogs, blending independence and enthusiasm with a love for rambunctious play, followed by deep naps in a soft spot. She hasnāt been tested with cats yet but gels with every dog she meets. House training is still a work in progress, but the trend is promising. Walks on leash are new to her, but she does enjoy exploring fenced yards and using a dog door. Oakley is already spayed and up to date on her vaccinations and preventatives.
