About Hibachi
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Hibachi! He's about 5 years old, 18 pounds, and full of personality in a compact little body. Hibachi came to his current rescue as a stray with some pretty significant eye issues from long-term untreated dry eye. Since receiving proper care and starting daily drops, his eyes have improved a lot, and he's been a total champ about the whole thing. He will need those drops for life, but he manages it like a pro and handles it way better than you'd expect—just another part of his routine. His vision is somewhat limited, but that doesn't slow him down a bit. Once he's figured out his surroundings, Hibachi navigates easily and goes about his day like nothing is wrong. He's curious, alert, and always interested in what's happening around him. Hibachi is friendly and quick to trust, loving to meet new people and settling in without hesitation. He's wonderful with other dogs, exuding a social energy without being overwhelming. One of his adorable quirks is the "belly rub flop"—just mention belly rubs and he’s already flipped over, waiting for that attention. After his little performance, he enjoys curling up in your lap for some cozy time. He walks nicely on leash and has just the right amount of spunk, making him easy and fun to be around. Hibachi's needs are simple: someone ready to continue his eye care and provide the affection he so clearly loves. He's unique, and meeting him in person will only make you love him more!
