Archer is a young pup who has already faced big changes in his short life, having been surrendered to a busy shelter due to his owner’s circumstances. Luckily, a devoted foster stepped in, and now Archer is excited for his forever home! Archer is a playful mix of Pitbull, Boxer, and more, and at about 11 months old, he already weighs around 55 pounds. He has a beautiful golden and white/cream short coat and lots of puppy energy to burn. This bouncy, goofy boy is both crate trained and house trained but, like all pups his age, occasional accidents can happen if he doesn’t get timely potty breaks. He’s eager to play—inside or out—and he keeps himself busy with toys when you’re not around. Archer enjoys meeting people, though he’s still polishing his introduction manners, and he’s lived happily with children in his previous home. He can get excited around other dogs and will thrive with slow introductions, possibly preferring to be an only dog or live with a calm, older companion. Archer is making great progress on leash with consistent training and does best with a front-lead harness.
