About Drama

Drama is a 2-year-old American Bully with an endearingly oversized head and a compact, athletic frame. At just 35 lbs, he has survived a close call at the shelter and bounced back from a tough bout of pneumonia. That resilience shows—he’s now healthy, upbeat, and soaking up life in foster care in Fishtown, Philadelphia. He’s a character: sometimes he’s all energy, racing around or playfully demanding attention, but he runs out of steam fast and loves to crash for cuddles. Drama’s a people dog—especially good with older kids, having charmed a crowd at a recent birthday party, though he can be rowdy during play. He handles group living well, getting along with both dogs and a cat at his foster home, though he can come on strong with new canine friends and needs slow introductions. Cats are usually fine, but he can get the urge to chase. Drama loves walks and car rides, and will let you know when he’s ready to go out. Crate time is manageable—he’ll voice a protest if you’re nearby but settles if left alone, and lately he prefers sleeping at the foot of your bed. He’s mostly housebroken, needing some supervision to avoid accidents. This goofy, affectionate boy is independent, loves his toys, and keeps his humans laughing. Drama does have a permanent medical quirk: his penis doesn’t retract, but it doesn’t bother him and requires no further intervention. Drama’s ready for his next adventure, toys in tow.
