Once at risk in the shelter and then hospitalized for pneumonia, Drama has now bounced back and is thriving—eager to find a family of his own. He’s an entertaining mix of low to high energy, often demanding playtime or affection, getting the zoomies, and making everyone laugh, but he tires out quickly, especially on warm days. This lovable goofball has proven himself great with people. Drama even spent hours at a child’s birthday party, doing well with kids of all ages, though his playful enthusiasm is best suited for children ages 8 and older to avoid accidental rowdiness. He’s currently fostered with both dogs and a cat, showing he can coexist harmoniously, whether as a solo pet or with other furry friends. While he sometimes gets eager meeting new dogs and might need slow introductions, he generally warms up quickly. With cats, he typically does well but may occasionally want to chase. Drama adores walks (and gets excited just at the mention of heading outside), enjoys car rides, and is learning to walk politely on leash. He’s mostly housebroken, with a few accidents possible if left unsupervised. He does well crated, although he may bark when he knows you’re nearby, and sometimes prefers sleeping at the foot of the bed. Drama loves toys, fetch, tug-of-war, and sometimes entertains himself, but also craves cuddles and scratches. He’s independent, vocal about his wants, and always ready to make his family smile. Drama has a few medical waivers, most notably that his penis remains exposed despite surgical attempts to correct it; this does not bother him or affect his happiness.
