Baxter has a playful streak and enjoys running around in a fenced yard, but he’s just as happy going for walks or tagging along on a hike. He’s relaxed on leash and doesn’t get reactive around other dogs, but Baxter needs to be the only dog in the home right now so he can be the king of his castle. He’s deeply attached to his person—a true monogamist who wants every bit of your attention and returns it with snuggles. His past was rough, but since being rescued, Baxter’s proven himself to be loyal and people-focused. He loves being close, is a total cuddle bug, and genuinely aims to please. He’s shown he does well around older kids and thrives on love and structure. Baxter’s horoscope? He’s a Scorpio—fiercely devoted, passionate, and always ready for his next adventure. He’s house trained, up to date on vaccinations, and neutered. Baxter is patiently waiting for a home where he can offer undivided loyalty. Click apply to start the adoption process.
