Rocky is a 6½-year-old Miniature Schnauzer mix who lost his owner and ended up in a shelter, where he spent his days in an outdoor pen before rescue. Since being taken in, Rocky has shown himself to be mellow, sweet, and deeply affectionate. He loves spending his day napping near his person and basks in attention from everyone around. Even the neighbors at his foster home stop by for some of his signature tail wags. Rocky does well around other dogs and will invite them to play with a cheerful bark. He is housebroken and thrives with predictable routines, though very strong excitement might lead to a small accident. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and recently had dental work, leaving him in much better spirits. Owing to a compression in his back, Rocky does best with short, frequent walks, and he takes squirrel spotting seriously.
