About Abby
Abby came from the countryside, picked up by the dog warden with another dog. The male was adopted first, leaving Abby behind until she was pulled from the pound and fully vetted—including her spay. She’s about a year old, likely a yellow Lab mix, and has a medium build. Abby is an upbeat dog with a calm, quiet nature—rarely barking, but always alert and ready for play. Fetch and Nylabones are favorites, and she’ll happily chase bugs or birds in a fenced yard for hours. She’s affectionate without being clingy, often rolling over for belly rubs but content nearby with a chew toy. Abby is energetic and could overpower very young kids; she’d do best with adults or older children. She’s house trained, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccinations. While she excels at enjoying the outdoors and quickly learns new things, she can be timid if she feels unsure. Abby does well with other dogs. She’ll thrive in a home with room to run and someone willing to keep building her leash skills. She’s ready for her next chapter. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
