About Bailey
Bailey is an 11-month-old spayed female hound/terrier mix with a short apricot and cream coat. She weighs about 40 pounds and is based in Elk Grove, CA. After being adopted out as a puppy without proper screening, Bailey is now looking for the right person to give her the attention and structure she’s craving. She loves being with people and is happiest when included in daily activities. Bailey is crate trained, travels well in the car, and knows how to sit. She enjoys toys—balls are her favorite—and loves to play. Because of her age and energy, she’s best suited for an active adopter or family, ideally with another playful dog or someone often at home. A yard to run in or regular walks would make her happy. Dog experience is essential for Bailey’s next home, and continued training will set her up for success on leash and in the home. Bailey is house trained, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for a foster or permanent home. Fun fact: Born April 12, Bailey is an Aries, which might explain her playful, bold personality.
