About Pogo
Pogo is a three-year-old, large hound mix with a whole lot of spirit and even more heart. At about 80 pounds, he’s a friendly, robust guy who thrives on play, adventure, and the company of people and other dogs. Pogo radiates energy and charm, and his goofy, happy-go-lucky personality is contagious. Like many hounds, he’s always up for a new activity or a walk, and he tends to barrel through life without worrying too much about his size. Because of this, he’d be best with teens or adults rather than very young kids, just to avoid accidental knock-overs during play. He’s house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations, making the transition to a new home that much easier. If you know and appreciate hound quirks or just want a dog who wants to be your active sidekick, Pogo fits the bill. He’s happiest in a home where he can join in on outdoor fun and has people who get his zest for life. Good with other dogs and always ready to make new friends, Pogo is soaking up his second chance after his rescue from a crowded shelter. He’s currently in Davis, CA and available for fostering or adoption. Could Pogo be the adventure buddy you’ve been searching for? Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
