Newt is available on a first come, first served basis. To meet this pet, please come to the shelter during adoption hours, fill out a survey with your information, and then you'll meet with an adoption coordinator who will introduce you and walk you through the adoption process.

Fall is pleasant but brief, with comfortable temperatures and beautiful foliage along the Missouri River. September and October offer the best outdoor pet weather in Omaha. Prepare for cold snaps by November as winter approaches quickly.
