About Karmen

Karmen is a gentle, sweet pit bull terrier mix, around two or three years old. She starts out a touch shy but warms up when she feels safe. Her confidence grows alongside other dogs—she comes out of her shell and shows her friendly side when there are canine companions around. Karmen was rescued from a tough hoarding situation and is still adjusting to everything new. She’s learning to trust people and will need a patient adopter who can give her steady reassurance as she builds confidence. A calm home with another dog and understanding adults would really suit her, and everyone—including other dogs—should meet Karmen first to make sure she feels secure there. She isn’t house trained yet and is still working on life skills, but she’s already vaccinated and spayed. Karmen has the makings of a wonderful companion for someone willing to give her time, space, and kindness as she settles in. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
