About Clio
Clio is a young, gentle dog with a survivor’s heart. At just two years old, she’s already shown remarkable resilience, having come from a hoarding situation where her basic needs weren’t met. Understandably, Clio is initially hesitant with strangers and new situations, but when given patience and routine, she starts to show her softer side. She’s opened up to her caregivers, responding warmly to kindness and thriving when given steady attention. Clio gets along well with other dogs and enjoys play, so a home with a friendly canine companion could be a plus. She is not yet house trained, and will need someone willing to guide her as she transitions to home living. Multiple meet-and-greets are important for Clio—she needs time to settle in and will do best with adopters who appreciate her need for reassurance and slow introductions. Everybody in the household, including resident dogs, will need to meet her beforehand to help make her next move smooth. If you have a calm, patient home and the willingness to help a deserving dog blossom, Clio’s ready for her next chapter. Start your journey together! Apply now.
