About Bear
This could be the start of something paw-some. Bear is a big-hearted 5-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who truly lives up to his name—he’s the ultimate snuggle king and a total love bug! Highly trainable and remarkably smart, Bear thrives on learning new tricks and shows off impressive obedience skills, including reliable recall. In the home, he’s a dream companion: both potty trained and crate trained, Bear settles in quietly for a snooze and is no trouble at all when it’s time to ride in the car. With great leash manners, Bear enjoys long walks with his foster sister and is considered a medium-energy dog. He’s always eager for a lively game of tug and can get a bit rowdy during play, so he would do best in a home with older children who can match his fun, enthusiastic energy. Among his favorite activities are watching TV (especially when other dogs appear!), savoring tasty treats, and, most importantly, finding the coziest spot for snuggles with his people. If you’re searching for a companion who is both active and a world-class cuddler, Bear might be your perfect match. Fun fact: With a birthday on March 23, Bear is an Aries, which means he’s sure to bring plenty of energy and enthusiasm to your life! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
