About Lil
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Lil! Lil is a sweet and shy 3-year-old Mini Aussie who is looking for her forever home after a tough start in a puppy mill. Despite her beginnings, she is house-trained and will use pee pads as she adapts to new environments. Initially, Lil is timid but with time, she becomes a devoted cuddler—especially when she feels secure. She thrives in the company of a confident dog who can help boost her sense of safety. Lil is more comfortable around women and will need extra patience to trust men. She is currently fearful of leashes and harnesses, so her new family should be gentle and patient in introducing her to these new experiences. A home with a securely fenced yard is ideal for Lil, offering her a safe space for exercise and exploration. Because she is shy, Lil would do best with older children who understand her fears and can give her the gentle respect she needs. Her adopters should be prepared for a journey of patience and understanding to support her transformation into a loving companion. Lil is currently on daily Prozac to help with her anxiety, and her future family should be willing to continue nurturing her emotional well-being. If you can offer Lil the love, patience, and secure environment she deserves, she could become a devoted and loyal part of your family. Come meet her and discover the affectionate friend she’s ready to be! Fun fact: Lil’s birthday is January 8th, making her a determined and practical Capricorn. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
