About Alec

Alec is a 2-year-old American Bully with a big personality and even bigger heart. He’s all about fetch—he’ll chase the ball on his own for hours and never gets tired of the game. Alec came up from Fresno, CA, after a rough patch, but he’s left that behind and is settling into life in the Pacific Northwest. He's a stocky 55 lbs, with short, silky tan and white fur and an expressive face that's very smoochable. He has zero complaints about chilling in his crate for a bit, and you'll find he's house trained and very food motivated—freeze-dried chicken, turkey, beef, even string cheese, you name it. Alec is devoted to his people and loves friendly humans of all sizes (just keep in mind he plays hard, so older kids are a better fit). He can be the only dog, but might do well with a dog sibling if personalities match. Cats aren’t his thing, so a feline-free home is best. He gets excited to meet new folks but settles quickly, revealing his affectionate, playful nature—and he’ll win any staring contest you dare start. Overall, Alec is social, loyal, and has exactly the right amount of spunk. Someone looking for a goofy sidekick to play fetch, snuggle, and hang out will find their match here. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
