Silvio is a five‑year‑old neutered American Bully with a huge heart and an equally huge desire to belong to someone. He’s had two consecutive years of professional training and understands both English and Spanish, making him one of the most well‑mannered, responsive dogs you’ll ever meet. He’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and up to date on all his shots. Inside the home, he’s quiet, calm, and happiest when he’s close to his person. Silvio knows a long list of tricks and even enjoys getting dressed up in costumes. He’s an 85‑pound snuggle bug who has absolutely no idea how strong he is—he just wants to curl up and be loved. He’s cold‑natured and very much a house dog, preferring warmth, blankets, and companionship over anything else. He does have his preferences: Silvio does not like cats, and he is dog selective. He understands and accepts dogs who become part of his “pack” once he learns his environment, but because he can get jealous, he would truly thrive as the only dog in the home. What he wants most is a person to bond with deeply, someone he can follow from room to room and lean into when he needs reassurance. Silvio’s need for a foster or adoptive home is immediate. His current guardian recently had surgery and now has very limited mobility, making it impossible to give Silvio the care, structure, and companionship he’s used to.
