Hi there, I'm Rogue, a 49-pound terrier mix with a big personality and an even bigger sense of adventure. I'm the kind of girl who likes to march to the beat of my own drum, happily exploring the world around me and doing my own thing. When we first meet, don't be surprised if I seem a little aloof-I'm probably off in my own little world, figuring things out at my own pace. I prefer to make the first move, so giving me the time and space to come to you is the best way to win me over. Once I decide you're my person though, I'll show my affection in my own quirky ways-like rubbing up against you just like a cat when I'm in the mood for some love. I'm a silly, spunky, and very sweet girl at heart, but I do have my boundaries and I need a home that respects them. I don't enjoy being overwhelmed or rushed, and I can be a bit possessive over the things I consider mine, so I'm not a good fit for a home with small kids. What I really need is someone patient and understanding, someone willing to take the time to build trust with me and appreciate me for who I am. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
