About Kika

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Kika is a sweet, small senior Miniature Poodle who found herself needing a new home after her previous owner could no longer care for her. At 12 years old and weighing just 9.6 pounds, she’s a gentle companion who enjoys the company of other dogs but isn’t comfortable around children. Kika is currently heartworm negative and will come spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She does need a dental, so a loving adopter should be ready to provide her with the care she deserves. Please note that the adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between dog and adopter. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, and a home check (with photos) may be required. The Humane Society of Highlands County places the wellbeing of their dogs first, so while your home may be a great fit, they do not operate on a first come, first served basis. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
