About Lucy Love
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Lucy Love, a delightful and playful Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler mix who is currently about 4 months old (as of April 2026) and is expected to reach a full-grown weight of 35-40 pounds. Black in color and bursting with puppy energy, Lucy Love adores other dogs and eagerly adapts to their size and personalities, making every canine encounter a joyful event. She hasn't met a dog she doesn't like, and it's clear she would thrive in a home with another dog companion. While Lucy hasn't met any cats yet, her gentle and friendly personality suggests she could be a good fit for feline friends. She absolutely loves children, showering them with kisses and displaying a gentle, affectionate nature, though she’s still learning her boundaries when excited—jumping up occasionally when she wants attention. Lucy Love already knows basic commands like sit and come and is working on mastering lay down. She lets you know when she needs to go outside by sitting by the door and, while the occasional accident happens during intense play, she’s getting the hang of it. She settles in her crate after a brief protest and is comfortable once she’s relaxed. Playtime is her favorite part of the day, and she enjoys squeaky toys, peanut butter, puzzle toys, and exploring the outdoors by watching birds and squirrels or sniffing during walks. The only thing she’s not a fan of is being told "no"—but that just adds to her character! As a fun fact, Lucy Love was born November 30th, making her a Sagittarius, which often means she’s adventurous, energetic, and charming. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
