About Albert
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Albert is a stunning dark brown tabby with adorable extra toes on all four paws, making him a true polydactyl charmer. Having arrived at the rescue at 12 years old through no fault of his own, Albert initially felt sad and confused by the sudden change. However, he has settled in beautifully, now displaying his gentle and affectionate personality. Albert adores human attention, as well as catnip toys, and prefers to observe his world from the comfort of a cozy cat tree—all while hoping for some loving pets. While Albert arrived with his brother, Theodore, they aren’t considered bonded, though it would be wonderful if they could find a home together. Like many senior felines, Albert has some medical needs, including chronic eye discharge, some early kidney concerns, and a sensitive digestive system. He receives a daily medication, subcutaneous fluids a couple of times a week, and is fed a limited ingredient duck diet. Albert is best suited for an experienced adopter who already has a relationship with a trusted veterinarian. Born on September 13, Albert is a practical and loyal Virgo—traits that shine through in his calm, loving demeanor. If you’re searching for a sweet companion, come meet this incredible kitty in Room 1—he’s sure to melt your heart! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
