About Tilly Pyr Bridge

Tilly is a 4-year-old female Great Pyrenees with a soft cream coat and a gentle, calm personality. She was displaced during Hurricane Helene flooding in Virginia and has been fostered safely since then, forming strong bonds with her caretakers. Tilly is affectionate, loves giving the classic "Pyr paw," and is always ready for couch cuddles. While she's initially barky or wary around strangers and loud noises, she isn't aggressive and warms up quickly once she feels safe. Bass from the TV sends her straight to her crate for comfort, but she recovers quickly in a quiet, predictable environment. Tilly is low-maintenance, does well alone for stretches, and walks nicely on a harness. She's currently not house trained, so patient guidance in a secure home is important. She's spayed and received a clean bill of health from her vet, with all her vaccines updated until May and regular heartworm prevention. Tilly does best in homes with gentle energy, a secure fenced yard, and an adopter who understands her shyness and will allow her time to build trust. She’s good with familiar people, dog friendly, and loves soft toys and gentle play. PYR Bridge is a home-to-home rehoming service that connects Great Pyrenees like Tilly directly with new families. Great Pyrenees Rescue Southeast helps screen and match but does not assume ownership of any dog listed here. Adoption fee is waived for Tilly. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
