About Ebony
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Ebony came to the rescue after being found as a stray, and she quickly charmed everyone with her mellow and gentle demeanor. During her time at the shelter, Ebony was incredibly quiet and easygoing, becoming a favorite thanks to her calm presence. She has a distinctive face, the result of old trauma or possibly something she was born with, and it only adds to her undeniable charm once you get to know her. Ebony thrives as a low-maintenance companion—she is fully house trained, loves lounging on her bed, and is happiest sticking close to home. You don't need a fenced yard for her; she heads outside, takes care of her needs, and comes right back in. Outdoors, she pays no mind to other animals like the resident rooster and guinea hen. While Ebony loves relaxing, she has her playful moments, especially when her food is being prepared, enjoying a bit of roughhousing with her four-legged friends. She has been with the rescue for about a year, and though she is currently heartworm positive, she's in good health, on regular preventative, and is expected to recover fully. Ebony gets along well with other dogs and is also comfortable around children. This sweet and affectionate girl is looking for a wonderful home where she can enjoy her golden years in comfort and love. She truly deserves a family to call her own. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
