Meet Maggie! Maggie is a Dachshund mix with a big personality packed into her adorable 25-lb frame. At about a year old, shes basically a toddler with zoomies, curiosity, and a toy obsession all rolled into one wiggly package. She can be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a minute and shell be your playful shadow. Once she feels safe, her silly, energetic side comes out full force, especially if toys are involved. (Squeaky toys beware.) Maggie would love a home with a doggy playmate who can help her burn off energy and show her the ropes. She thrives with companionship and playtime, and shes always ready for the next adventure. She is currently heartworm positive, but dont let that scare you away. Her rescue has her covered and will handle the treatment, so she just needs a family ready to cheer her on while she gets healthy.
