He’s: Great with kids Friendly with other dogs and even cats House trained, crate trained, and knows how to use a doggy door A good walker on leash A big fan of car rides (he’ll happily be your co-pilot!) He’s truly an “all-around good boy” who enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing, whether that’s heading out on an errand or relaxing at home. Meechi can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but with a little patience and a gentle approach, he warms up and shows his loving, loyal side. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. Our adoption fee is $850. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ/OR, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
