Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Lucy - the gentle little soul who just wanted to be loved! At 1 year old, Lucy is a beautiful calico with a calm, cozy presence that instantly puts you at ease. She isn’t the kind of cat who demands the spotlight - instead, she quietly finds her way into your heart and settles in like she’s always belonged there. Lucy came to us through a TNR program, but the moment she was trapped, something became very clear...she wasn’t feral at all. Instead of fear, she greeted the trapper with soft purrs and a longing touch - almost as if she was saying “thank you” for catching me! No one knows how she ended up out there, or how long she had been on her own. But what we do know is that she was never meant for that life. Lucy is incredibly sweet, gentle, and relaxed. She’s happiest curled up in a warm lap, soaking in soft pets and quiet moments. Her laid back, low energy nature makes her the perfect companion for another feline friend or just for someone who appreciates peaceful, cozy days and a calm presence by their side. She doesn’t ask for much - just kindness, comfort, and someone to love her the way she’s always deserved. Lucy has already shown how much love she has to give...now she’s just waiting for a home where she can finally feel safe enough to give it every single day. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
