At just 1 year old, Madam is still so young...yet she’s already lived a life that asked too much of her, too soon. Before she ever got the chance to be a carefree kitten, she became a mom - out there on her own, doing her best to survive. She showed up as a stray, quietly appearing as if she was searching for something...or someone. And what she’s always been searching for is love! Madam is incredibly sweet, gentle, and deeply affectionate. She doesn’t demand attention - she asks for it, softly and politely, like she’s just hoping you’ll say yes. And when you do, she melts. Leaning into your hand, making the sweetest biscuits, soaking in every moment of kindness like it means everything - because to her, it does! She has a calm, quiet nature, the kind of presence that feels comforting just to be around. She loves pets, loves being close, and loves knowing she’s safe. After everything she’s been through, Madam deserves a life where she’s the one being cared for now. No more surviving. No more wondering. Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
